Since January 2008, Jim Taylor has been instrumental to the success of the Arlington Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). After completing the 20+ hour Basic CERT program, Jim has since volunteered his time to assist every CERT courses following his. For each class, Jim arrives early to aid with course setup and stays throughout each course to ensure our instructors and students have the needed support. Additionally, Jim always brings his disaster go-kit for others to see, in hopes they too will have the needed supplies when an emergency strikes. Jim's commitment to the CERT program has greatly benefited all that have taken our course and the Office of Emergency Management is grateful for his service.
