The Bob Duncan Center, built in 1974, is getting some improvements this fall. The terrace on the west side of the facility will be receiving a facelift due to soil conditions and regular shifting of the concrete. The reconstructed terrace will be become a wonderful outdoor area perfect for weddings, company events and any other outdoor private rentals. Construction is scheduled to begin within the next two months with anticipated completion in early spring. Construction will not impact any rentals or events at the center.

Located in Vandergriff Park, the Bob Duncan Center hosts over 650 events annually and is home to many community clubs that have been meeting at the building since it opened.

The Center is named after a WW II veteran, long-time Arlington resident and philanthropist and the founder of Duncan Disposal, Bob Duncan.
