Police Looking for Elderly Woman with Alzheimer’s Disease

The Arlington Police Department is actively looking for a missing 82-year-old woman who shows signs of having Alzheimer' s disease and has a history of becoming easily confused. Maria Arrocha was last seen by family members on Tuesday around 9 a.m. at her home in the 1800 block of Arbor Lane in Arlington. She walked out of the house and has not been seen by family since.

Ms. Arrocha is described as a Hispanic female with black/grey hair and brown eyes. She is about 5' 5' tall and weighs around 180 pounds. Family members are not sure what she was wearing when she left the house. A photograph of Ms. Arrocha is included with this release. Police officers and volunteers have been searching the area for Ms. Arrocha.
