This summer Bad Koenigshofen Family Aquatic Center will be playing radio station over the air "waves" as a pilot project that may be considered for other facilities next year. Splash Radio, is a branded prerecorded radio station designed for the City of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department. The station will provide great family friendly music, safety tips and key community information all summer long.

The station will provide a new level of entertainment for Bad Koenigshofen Pool and its pool users by playing hits from the 1980's to the present day. In addition to music, Splash Radio will provide important information on safety, community health and upcoming events. The business community can also get involved via advertising campaigns that will go to support aquatic operations and improvements.

"We are very excited about this new entertainment option we will be providing at the Bad Konigshofen Pool this summer. It is a great way to provide music and communicate with our patrons" stated Maria Campbell, Aquatic Manager.

If the product is successful and the park users enjoy the music, it may be considered for other facilities such as Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center and Elzie Odom Athletic Center in 2013.
