Arlington Unveils New Brand for Downtown

There's a new look for Downtown Arlington making the scene first thing tomorrow morning. The Downtown Arlington Management Corporation will officially launch its new brand over Levitt Pavilion with a team of skydivers.

On Wednesday, May 23 at 8:35 a.m. sky divers will land in the middle of downtown carrying banners with the new downtown Arlington logo. The event will kick-off the Downtown Arlington Marketing Committee's new branding campaign, and will help promote the weekend of free music offered in the area during Memorial Day Weekend.

The event begins at 7:30 with music, breakfast and a full slate of special guests. The public is invited for the official unveiling.

Why: To brand downtown Arlington and raise awareness of the growth and development in the area

  • John Hall -vice president of administration and campus operations at the UTA

  • Tony Rutigliano, executive vice president of the DAMC
