Register Now for American Heart Association 3rd Annual Golf Tournament

Join us for the 3rd Annual Heart Association Golf Tournament on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at Tierra Verde Golf Club, 7005 Golf Club Drive in Arlington. Help the City of Arlington meet this year's goal to raise $60,000 for the Tarrant County American Heart Association.

How to Participate

Entry form and tournament schedule available at www.arlingtongolf.com. Entry fee is $80 per player and $320 for a team of four. Fee includes green fees, cart, range balls, registration bag, opportunity for prizes, buffet dinner and live music featuring the Silver Rail Band.

Entry forms and fees will be accepted through Monday, Oct. 1, 2012. Those who register by Wednesday, Sept. 5, will receive a raffle ticket. Registration will begin at 12 noon with a 1:30 p.m. shot gun start.

The golf tournament is just one of many fundraiser activities led by the City of Arlington and its employees to raise donations for this worthy cause. Heart disease and stroke claims more than 90,000 lives a year.

They donate grants for a variety of a local school programs and also host an annual "Shoes That Fit" fundraiser that provides shoes to children in need, donating nearly 63,000 pairs of new shoes since the program began in 2007.
