Arlington Police Officer Bryan Graham is now recovering at home with family after receiving a gunshot wound to the head Tuesday night while serving a felony arrest warrant. He was released from John Peter Smith hospital on Wednesday.

Graham and other members of Arlington's SWAT team were called to assist Fort Worth police, when a robbery suspect, Alexzander Rye Coan barricaded himself inside his east Arlington apartment. Minutes after the SWAT team was in position, shots rang out and Officer Graham was struck by a bullet which entered above his right eye. Coan was also shot and later died. Police discovered two women inside the apartment, and believe one was being held against her will. The other, identified as the suspect's girlfriend, Jade Nycole Simon, 30, of Duncanville was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping. She also has outstanding warrants for traffic violations. Simon remains in the Arlington City Jail with bail set at $100,995.
