Lucky & Timmy
Dog of the Week – Lucky
This one year, seven months old male Alaskan Husky mix is black and white in color and weighs 54 pounds. Lucky is definitely the appropriate name for this canine! He came into the shelter as a stray with citizens that observed him having been hit by not one, but TWO cars... He originally was showing some road rash and a few cuts and scrapes, but he has healed nicely. Our veterinary team has medically cleared him for adoption. He is one of the sweetest dogs and seems to understand how lucky he is. Being adopted by a family he could call his own would definitely extend the luck for this dog. As a resident of the shelter since the end of August, Lucky is eager to meet his new "furever" family. Lucky is considered a VIP pet so he can be adopted at a reduced adoption fee. Meet Lucky at Dog Adoptions (DA) 1, and his ID number is A54065069 DA1.
Second Dog of the Week – Meet Timmy
This two years, one and a half months old male Shepherd mix is smoke and white in color and weighs 46 pounds. What a beautiful specimen of a shepherd is Timmy—that pretty color! One of our longest shelter residents at over 45 days in house, this canine is ready to be the chosen canine to go home with an active family. At just over two years old this pooch has a lot of life and a lot of love to give and share with the family that chooses him. He is ready to be mentally and physically challenged to keep his mind active and his body "svelte". A new pet guardian family will need to follow up with having him treated for heartworms as he has tested heartworm positive. Once that has been done, Timmy should be good as new. Due to his test result and the amount of time he has spent in the shelter, Timmy is considered a VIP and adoptable at a reduced adoption fee. Meet Timmy at Dog Adoptions (DA) 12, his ID number is A53923420.
Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
