Claims Against the City

Report your claim online by submitting the Notice of Claim form below. Your claim will be forwarded to the City's Claims Administrator, who will investigate and determine if the City of Arlington is responsible.

Complete the form below, and email any required or supporting documentation to riskandsafety@arlingtontx.gov.

Notice of Claim Form

If it is determined that the City of Arlington is responsible, the City's Claims Administrator will work with you to reach a fair settlement. If the investigation shows that the City of Arlington is not responsible, you will receive a letter stating that your claim has been denied.

If your claim is denied, or you cannot reach an agreement on the fair value of your claim, you maintain the option of pursuing your case in the courts. If so, you may find it advisable to consult with an attorney.

To fill out a Notice of Claim form in-person, and provide any supporting documentation, please visit the City Secretary's Office at 101 West Abram Street, Arlington, Texas 76010.
