Naisha Estrada is the MWBE (Minority/Woman Business Enterprise) Coordinator for the City of Arlington. She is responsible for managing the City’s Local & MWBE Policy, vendor/supplier outreach & training, supplier registration, tracking & reporting Local & MWBE vendor award & spend, and identify current trends to City Council and City Manager’s Office.
Previously, Ms. Estrada served as the Administrative Services Coordinator and Accounting Aide for the City of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department. She was responsible for the procurement and support to the Director of Parks and Recreation and served as Volunteer Coordinator. She was responsible for the process of contract routing and contract compliance of conditions. Naisha was also key in monitoring departmental expenditures and revenues and coordinating accounts payable and receivable functions according to governmental procedures and regulations.
Ms. Estrada holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico.
