The City Secretary is the custodian of records for the City of Arlington. Copies and certified copies of documents are available for a nominal charge. Other duties of this office include:

  • Preparation of City Council Meeting Agendas and Official Minutes
  • Maintaining Records of all Births and Deaths within the City of Arlington
  • Overseeing the City Elections Process
  • Issuance and Collection of Alcoholic Beverage Licenses
  • Notification, Billing and Collection of Street and Sewer Assessments
  • Initial Acceptance of City Claims and Lawsuits
