Private, Nonprofit Schools Can Learn About Federal Educational Services at Arlington Meeting

Federal Educational Services, authorized by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, may be available for eligible students who live within the Arlington ISD boundaries and who attend private non-profit schools serving grades PK-12.

Private non-profit schools interested in learning more about federal educational services are invited to attend an informational meeting from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 19 or from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, May 20 at the Hilldale Annex Conference Room, 4800 West Arkansas Lane, in Arlington.

A packet of information concerning eligibility requirements for federal educational services will be available at the meeting. Schools that receive federal educational services must comply with all requisite federal policies and procedures.
