Cat of the Week - Meet Minerva

This two-year-old female Domestic Shorthair is a brown and black Tabby. Minerva was recently owner surrendered to the shelter due to her pet guardian being allergic to her. Upon first encounter, Minerva takes a lot of time to check out her surroundings. Once she has relaxed she loves to be petted and will purr and knead as she walks. Your patience and gentleness will be rewarded with her trust and a desire for attention. Minerva would probably do best in a home with a relaxed atmosphere. Dog of the Week - Meet Buster

This two-year-old male Boxer Mix is red and white in color and weighs 52 pounds. Boxers are described as animated and playful as youngsters and can become calmer as they age. While Buster did not show an interest in playing with toys, he did exhibit interest in watching the dogs at the nearby dog park. He would probably benefit from some structured training classes.
