“We cannot wait to shine a light on child abuse prevention with our second annual Duck Derby. This event held at Viridian DFW is taking out efforts to the heart of our Arlington residents.  It’s a family-friendly giveback to a community who's been supportive of the Junior League of Arlington for almost 40 years. With new additions to our schedule of events, we look forward to incorporating some nostalgia of events in the past, we are bringing back the Children’s Fashion Show.  It will be fun for everyone, so dress to impress and win!” Rene Demaree Co-Chair of the Event said.

“Duck Derby is fast becoming one of my favorites! Think Kentucky Derby meets rubber ducks…this event culminates April’s Child Abuse Awareness month, with each blue rubber duck representing a case of reported child abuse in Tarrant County. Duck Derby is one of JLA’s efforts in the community to raise abuse awareness.  April 23rd…the race is on!” said Junior League of Arlington President, Jennifer Cummings.
