Meet Bentley, the Arlington Animal Services (AAS) Cat of the Week! Bentley is a brown and black, short-haired, male Tabby that weighs 9.8 pounds. Bentley came into the shelter as a stray on August 23, 2012. While he was in holding, Bentley acted very withdrawn and non social. The volunteers and staff tried to spend time with Bentley, but without a lot of progress at first, because he seemed so shy. The volunteers networked Bentley to see if they could find an adopter for him, or a rescue group to take him into their program. Then suddenly, a breakthrough occurred! Bentley became his normal self; friendly, outgoing, purr-ful, and he even started to talk and meow! The staff and volunteers are so excited! He sprang into action and shared with everyone that he can be an outgoing, super friendly cat! Amazing! He is now looking for a new family or individual that will love him forever. He promises to be outgoing from this point on! He is a total sweetheart! Please consider Bentley for adoption, will it be you? Come meet Bentley today, he is located in kennel CA 31 and his ID number is 17052105.
