Arlington Receives National Recognition for Innovative Self-Driving Shuttle Service

From exploring emerging transportation technology to improving mile after mile of neighborhood streets, Arlington continues to strategically invest in projects designed to improve mobility across The American Dream City.

Our latest Enhance Regional Mobility newsletter highlights activities and projects that support the City Council's goal to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Arlington's transportation connections within and beyond the city limits. This includes the nationally recognized launch of Arlington's innovative self-driving shuttle service pilot program with, the completion of the nearly $12 million New York Avenue rebuild between Abram Street and Arkansas Lane and the expansion of the City's affordable Via Rideshare service area.
