Friday, June 11, 7 p.m.
David Ramirez with Opening Act Jay Smith

Jay Smith knew that sharing his passion for emotion and love was where he fit. Push forward through a college band, life, and love, you will find him anywhere that will listen to his beautiful voice and inspirational “Love is Alive” music! Jay has shared the stage with most red dirt recording acts the likes of Mickey and the Motorcars, Matt Kimble, Mike Ryan and Brandon Jenkins. He has been a featured artist pushing his latest single “I Can’t Win” on The Sunday Sendoff, a radio show on Fort Worth’s 95.9 The Ranch, West Texas Live 105.3 in Lubbock TX, as well as “2017 Texas Radio Station of the Year,” 94.9 The Outlaw in Wichita Falls TX; and “Texas Internet Radio Station of the Year,” Texashomegrownradio.com! He is currently finishing up his debut EP with the award-winning and highly respected producer/engineer Bart Rose with Fort Worth Sound. If you love honest songwriting, Jay Smith is what your heart needs!

As songwriters evolve, so does their art, and that could not be more apparent than on David Ramirez’s newest offering. The soundscapes utilized on My Love Is A Hurricane may be unlike any recording he has previously crafted, but it’s not a departure from his journey. It’s a new path created in order to tell a new story. A new canvas needed to hold the scene that his intensely personal lyrics are painting. For the first time in his career, he did no pre-production ahead of time, working from gut feelings throughout the process and spending most of his time in the studio on the edge of his seat. The resulting R&B-influenced, piano-driven production is highlighted by heavy basslines and synths with the occasional gospel backing. This experimentation with new melodies and rhythms places Ramirez’s deeply personal songwriting on top of dreamy, groove-driven landscapes that heal the heart and promote positivity while prompting listeners to want to sing (and dance) along.

Saturday, June 12, 7 p.m.
Aaron Copeland with Opening Act Blaine Mitchell

Fort Worth-based folk singer-songwriter as seen on NBC’s The Voice Season 9. Blaine Mitchell has shared the stage across the country with acts such as Adam Levine, Rihanna, and Jon Fogerty. Blaine’s soulful approach and illustrative songwriting will take you to honest crossroads. Ethan Kaufmann, Blaine’s producer, brought to life this soulful folk experience. The two have known and worked together for over a decade and went to the same high school in Rockwall, Texas where the two grew up. Blaine has crafted his writing around personal stories and the emotional vocal performance that surrounds you in a vintage blanket of art through sound. The music and audio soulfully provide the undercurrent of sound from b3 organs and old acoustic guitars to set the tone of Blaine’s work, and his fast-growing music prowess in the independent music world.

Aaron Copeland grew up in Corsicana, where he learned to play guitar and piano at a young age and quickly began winning competitions. As a teenager, he played honky tonks with his dad and brothers. When he was 20, he secured a position with the Casey Donahew Band playing keys and guitar, singing harmony vocals, and eventually co-writing songs for the band with Casey Donahew. Aaron stayed for six years, learning the ins and outs of the touring world. Aaron then joined Sam Riggs and the Night People, where he continued to fine-tune his skills and build a growing fan base. Although he enjoyed every minute with his previous bands, Aaron felt the time was right to branch out on his own. Now based in Fort Worth, Aaron has debuted his first EP and is currently working on his first full-length album consisting of songs he has written with several national chart-topping writers. Aaron’s live show combines his country roots with a modern, rockin’ country edge that keeps people coming back for more.

Sunday, June 13, 7 p.m.
