The City of Arlington Municipal Court remains open to the public and is following the normal business hours of 7:30AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday. The Municipal Court continues to enforce strict social distancing and sanitation protocols in all public areas. The Court requires the use of wearing a face mask for all individuals that enter the building and that only defendants or attorneys with official court business appear. Please do not bring additional family or friends.
Before coming to the Court, you may check the status of your violation by doing a record search or by calling 817-459-6777.
Please note the following concerning court dockets:
• No in-person Jury Trials or Juvenile Dockets will be held until June 2021. Persons with one of these scheduled dockets will receive notice via mail with a new date and time of their court setting.
• All scheduled virtual hearings will continue to be held until March 31st, 2021. Capias Pro Fine Show Cause Dockets scheduled for April 7th and April 14th will be virtual dockets. Defendants will have received prior notice for virtual court setting and must attend the hearing that matches their Court Notice.
• Effective April 5, 2021, the Arlington Municipal Court will resume in-person dockets and hearings. Notices have been mailed and your court setting is scheduled to take place in-person if you have been scheduled for one of the following dockets: Bench Trials, Show Cause, Jail Plea Dockets, Civil Hearings, Code Hearings, Family Violence Dockets, Plea Dockets, Pre-trial Dockets, and Motions Hearings, Show Cause Dockets, Insurance Dockets, Animal/Alarm Dockets.
All individuals are encouraged to review the online services to see what options may be available to resolve your matter(s). Defendants who wish to speak to a live clerk to obtain general citation information and options may join a zoom meeting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30am to 10:30am. Please provide your name, address, citation number, date of birth and phone number in all emailed correspondence with the Court.
