June is here, and that means summer is in full swing in The American Dream City. In this edition of Neighborhood Network News, we have details on a new art piece Downtown and a pop culture festival. Plus, we want to help you track your water usage during these busy months.

It's a to-do list you won't mind tackling.

✅ Walk through the City's newest sculpture

City Center (between the Downtown Library and City Hall) is now home to an original art piece. The interactive sculpture was donated by the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation. Come take a walk through.

 Find your inner superhero

ArlingCon 2019 is Saturday, June 15. The event is geared toward pop culture lovers and includes guest speakers, workshops and a costume contest. The event is free and begins at 10 a.m. at UT Arlington's E.H. Hereford University Center.

Track your water use in real time

✅ Teach your kids water safety

Most kids love being in and around water this time of year, but safety must come first. Arlington Parks & Recreation is hosting "Swim Safe" Saturday, June 22 at Allen Bolden Pool. The event will teach children different water and sun safety techniques. You'll also have a chance to win swim lessons. The event begins at 9 a.m.
