On Sunday, December 31, 2023, at approximately 2:04 a.m., the Arlington Police Department responded to the 2200 block of W. Sublett Road to investigate a single-vehicle crash.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the 37-year-old male driver of a 2019 Kia Stinger GT unresponsive inside his vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

 Investigators believe the man was traveling westbound along Sublett Rd, lost control of his vehicle, went partially off the roadway, and struck a tree. It appears the impact redirected the car into several residential fences, a utility pole, and ultimately a concrete pillar.There was no one else inside the vehicle and there were no reports of any additional injuries.

 Investigators believe speed may have been a factor in the crash.

 The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
