Grab your sneakers and join District 2 City Council Member Sheri Capehart at S.J. Stovall Park on May 31 as she hosts the City of Arlington's first walking town hall meeting.

Residents, business owners and interested parties will be able to share ideas and conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.

The walk is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. Just meet Council Member Capehart at S.J. Stovall Park and walk the roughly one-mile loop, then take a 2.1 mile stroll through the neighborhood. Deputy City Manager Dr. Theron Bowman will attend as well.

Council Member Capehart decided to take her town hall meeting out into the neighborhood as a way of getting a first hand look at the issues that are important to the residents she serves.
