Every year, dogs suffer and die when their owners make the mistake of leaving them in a hot car. While these stories are tragic, they are preventable. The inside temperature can quickly swell to dangerous levels and lead to deadly consequences for your furry friend. Members of the Arlington Police Department ask you to be responsible. Do not leave a dog inside of a car. If you see someone else doing it, politely remind them not to do this. You can always contact the Arlington Police Department or Animal Services for help as well.
