Live Music Returns to Levitt Pavilion

Downtown Arlington is going to be buzzing again this weekend as The O's and Bob Schneider kick off the 2014 Downtown Arlington Center Stage Music Festival. People from across the Metroplex continue to enjoy these free concerts, so bring your lawn chair and join the party.

Friday

Bob Schneider - Innovative artistry from a true Texas original.

Saturday

Barrett Baber - A passion for art and happiness.

Luke Wade & No Civilians - Folk/rock music with meaning.

Arlington Museum of Art Presents Ansel Adams: Masterworks

Arlington Museum of Art is presenting this acclaimed Ansel Adams: Masterworks exhibit. The exhibit contains 48 photographs that Adams considered to be his best work. These images will be on display through August 3 at AMA. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors/students (for major exhibits) and children 12 and under are free.

Food Truck Friday Nights at River Legacy Park

After a successful Food Truck Friday Nights series at Levitt Pavilion, the Arlington Parks & Recreation Department has decided to expand its offering. Now you can enjoy Food Truck Friday Nights at River Legacy Park beginning Friday from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. The event runs every Friday through June 13. Five trucks will be on hand each week. Ventana Cantina will be on hand to sell adult beverages. Free parking and admission.

Ready, Set, Race!

Grab the sunscreen, swim trucks or swimsuit, and head over to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor for a one-of-a-kind racing experience. Try the new Wahoo Racer, a thrilling multi-lane water slide complex that is the largest of its kind in the world. Wahoo is a two-tiered slide mat racer that first send you in an intense, winding stretch through colorful tubes before shooting you out into six racing track-styled lanes.

Theatre Arlington presents Nunsense

Theatre Arlington continues its 41st anniversary season with the hilarious musical comedy and second-longest-running Off-Broadway show in history, Nunsense, by Dan Goggin. Nunsense is about a fundraiser put on by the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia (Child of God). This show features new jokes, additional lyrics, two new arrangements and a brand new song. Suitable for all audiences. Friday & Saturday performances are 8 p.m.; Sunday's performance is 2 p.m. Tickets are $22 for adults and $20 for seniors/students. Click here for tickets.
