Fans, the media and NCAA officials alike have praised Arlington for being one of the best host cities for the NCAA Men' s Final Four. The tournament set a new record with 158,682 fans attending the three tournament games, 9,006 more than last year in Atlanta.

This strong showing has AT&T Stadium in the running to host future NCAA men' s and women' s Final Fours. NCAA president Mark Emmert said "there' s no better stadium, probably, in the country than this one.
