Lacrosse Coming to Arlington

Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing team sports in the country. The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department is looking to gauge interest in having this sport become a permanent offering from Arlington Athletics.

"Considered the fastest game on grass, Lacrosse is growing in neighborhoods throughout Fort Worth, Southlake, Plano, Dallas, and more," Athletic Programs Manager Wendy Parker said. "It's an amazing sport for both boys and girls, big or small. All you need is enthusiasm, passion, a team mentality, and a willingness to learn."

Arlington Athletics will host a series of clinics at the recreation centers as a part of Summer Day Camps. If your child is enrolled at one of our camps, and would like to participate in the clinics, please let the center staff know. A registration sheet will be available at the day camps for those who are interested in participating in the Lacrosse clinics.
