The UTA Native American Student Association will host its 28th annual Scholarship and Benefit Powwow Saturday, March 2, 2024.

The UTA Native American Student Association will host its 28th annual Scholarship and Benefit Powwow Saturday, March 2, 2024.

This free community event is set from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., at The University of Texas at Arlington’s Maverick Activities Center, 500 W. Nedderman Dr.

The event, which includes dance competitions, music, food, and vendors, is designed to raise money for student scholarships provided by the UTA Native American Student Association.

This year’s event will also feature Indian Tacos, Native arts & crafts, a stickball demo, women’s, men’s, and community contests and much more.

Parking and admission are free for attendees.

The City of Arlington, ranked the 5th most diverse large city in the nation, is home to many different backgrounds and cultures. It’s what makes The American Dream City so great! Attending cultural events, like the annual powwow, is a great way to learn about Arlington’s many communities in a fun and interactive way.
