Summer is here, temperatures are rising and families are looking for fun, affordable options.

Luckily, Arlington theaters are offering summer specials to keep everyone entertained. We rounded up some of the best deals across town. 

Movie Tavern (Green Oaks)

Movie Tavern is hosting the "Kids Dream" film series. The theatre is showing family-friendly movies from June 16 through August 24, on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays. Admission is just $3.

Studio Movie Grill

Studio Movie Grill is hosting the "Children's Summer Series" at both Arlington locations. The selected films are shown at 10 a.m. Monday through Friday, and admission is just $1.

Studio Movie Grill also hosts screenings for children with special needs. During the film, the lights are left on and the volume is turned down. Everyone is free to move around the theater. Arlington Backyard at "Texas Live!"

Nothing says summer like movies and baseball. Now, "Texas Live!" is combining the two for a free summer movie series. The entertainment venue is showing baseball-themed movies in the Arlington Backyard space. Admission is free. Bring lawn chairs or blankets as seating is limited.

Levitt Pavilion

The Levitt Pavilion in Downtown Arlington offers more than just free concerts. The venue is also hosting movie nights under the stars. All movies begin at 8 p.m.

• Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again - June 13 (Feel free to sing along!)
• Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - June 20
• Dumplin' - June 27 (Dumplin' author and Arlington resident Julie Murphy will also be on-hand to sign copies of her books)

AMC offers $5 admission on Tuesdays for its "Stubs Club" members. Membership is free, and you can sign up online now.
