Cat of the Week - Meet Zuzu

This two and half year-old female Domestic Shorthair is a brown and red Calico. The name Zuzu in some languages means “sweet” and that is a most appropriate term for this cat. While she can be very, very shy at first meeting, this feline does like to be petted. Arching up to meet your hand she expects you to pet her. Hard to tell whether she responds with purring, but she does “make biscuits” on the floor. With an adoption fee of $25 due to being FELV positive, Zuzu would probably do best in a quiet, all adult household. Her best life would include being the only pet and remaining an indoor cat only. Providing a wonderful life for this cat would be a great thing for a new adopter to do. Meet Zuzu in Cat Adoptions (CA) 25, with ID number 47015854.

Dog of the Week - Meet Attwell

This five-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is a brown and black brindle and weighs 56 pounds. Ready to adopt a new furry companion? Then give this dog, Attwell, a chance. He’s a very kind and gentle dog, seemingly just a big lap dog. He likes to be petted on the head, the haunches, just anywhere. He doesn’t seem to be very toy motivated—just give him some lovin’. He walks well on a leash and does respond to the “sit” command. A family willing to provide this adorable canine with lots of love and attention would be ideal. Attwell has been at the shelter for over a month and is really ready to find his new furrever home. His adoption fee is only $25. Meet Attwell in Dog Adoptions (DA) 14, with ID number 46716790.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
