Whether you want to spend a day at the lake, or grab lunch on the go, there is no shortage of ways to enjoy being outside this time of year. We have a few suggestions in this edition of Neighborhood Network News. It's a to-do list you won't mind tackling.

Visit the Lake House at Richard Simpson Park

The new $3.5 million lake house comes with several big upgrades. There is now a community room and warming kitchen, making the space perfect for private events. You'll also have easier access to Lake Arlington.

Save water, energy and money

May 25-27 is tax-free weekend on energy and water-efficient appliances. The list covers everything from lightbulbs and showerheads to new air conditioning units.

Grab lunch at Food Truck Friday

Some new lunch options are rolling into Downtown Arlington. "Food Truck Friday" returns May 17 and 24. Trucks will be parked at City Center (between City Hall and the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library) from 11 a.m. through 2 p.m.

Pick the perfect summer camp

It's that time of year. No matter what your child's interested in, there's a summer camp just for them. We've put together a list covering everything from STEM to sports. The best part? They're all happening here in Arlington.
