Interested in harvesting rainwater using a rain barrel but don't know how? Register today for the "Make a Rain Barrel" class presented by the City of Arlington Water Utilities Department on Saturday, September 21 at 10 a.m. in the Arlington City Hall Council Chambers.

Rain barrels are a great way to conserve water, which is at a premium this summer. You can capture the pure rain water that garden plants prefer.

For only $10, Arlington residents can attend a "Make a Rain Barrel" class at EcoFest Arlington and leave with their very own rain barrel. Register today to learn how to design and install a rainwater harvesting system at your home. A total of 150 rain barrels will be given away and there is a limit of one rain barrel per residence.
