Arlington Animal Services' is pleased to announce "Little Gurl" as the Dog of the Week. Little Gurl is a darling Welsh Corgi Cardigan/Mini Dachshund Mix. She is six years old and weighs approximately 29 pounds. This precious little doll was surrendered to our shelter due to the health of her owner who could no longer care for her. Full of personality and charm, Little Gurl is very calm and well behaved. She enjoys hiding her toys in her blanket for possible playtimes later in the day, and seems to enjoy other dogs company as well. She loves to be rubbed on, and sometimes thinks she is a personal lap dog available for hugs and kisses at any time! A volunteer favorite, she has won the hearts of our adult and youth volunteers alike. If you are looking for a smaller dog for your family who is out of the "puppy" stage of life then Little Gurl may be the perfect match for you! Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, a micro-chip and 30 days pet insurance. This darling girl is sure to win over your heart, and is available to go home immediately! If you are interested in adopting a new family member, please come down to the Arlington Animal Services Center and ask to meet "Little Gurl", the Dog of the Week. Be sure to give them her special ID number A20684946. Little Gurl is located in kennel DA7 and is waiting to meet with you today!
