Hello, my name is Gretel and I am the new Cat of the Week for the Arlington Animal Services' Center! My real name is actually Gretel. My owner surrendered me on September 16 because of unrealistic expectations, no fault of my own. And now I find myself in the shelter looking for my new forever home. I am hoping that will be with you! I am a five-year old grey/white Tabby, and I weigh six pounds and have cute long white whiskers. I have a small frame and am considered petite. I love to be petted all over. At first I might seem shy, but after a minute or two, I relax and enjoy your petting and attention. I will even purr for you when you pet me! I have been pretty laid back and quiet while I have been at the shelter. Please consider adopting me today, I would love nothing more than to cuddle up to you on the couch and snuggle up to you on the bed while you read a good book. My name is Gretel, and I am searching for my fur-ever home! My ID number is 20990784.
