MAX Ridership Increases During Second Week

During Second Week

Ridership on the Metro ArlingtonXpress, or MAX, commuter bus service increased during its second week of service. MAX provided 1,216 one-way trips during service August 26-30. The daily number of trips - when a person steps onto a bus for a ride - ranged from 186 to 265.

MAX, which connects downtown Arlington to the Trinity Railway Express CentrePort/DFW Station, continues to serve a wide range of commuters - from students attending classes at UT Arlington to people heading to job interviews in Dallas and Fort Worth.

Buses will operate Monday-Friday from about 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. For a bus schedule, maps and other important information, visit RideTheMax.com.
