Safe Streets Arlington
Imagine a city where no one is severely or fatally harmed while travelling to work, school, and fun. The City of Arlington is working toward that goal with a transportation safety action plan, which is called Safe Streets Arlington. The plan gives the community a path forward to create a safe system for all roadway users through a comprehensive and data-driven approach. It includes a collection of tools, policies, strategies, and infrastructure aimed at eliminating all roadway traffic deaths and injuries in Arlington.
The Safe Streets Arlington Plan was adopted by Arlington City Council in December 2024. The Plan document can be viewed here.
