The City of Arlington’s Health Services is offering two free doses of Naloxone to businesses as part of a new public health initiative. Commonly known as its brand name "Narcan", Naloxone is an over-the-counter nasal spray that can rapidly reverse the effects of an opioid overdose while waiting for medical help. Deaths can be prevented in our community by providing businesses with the tools to respond effectively in the event of an opioid overdose emergency. 

Unity Recovery, a non-profit organization dedicated to harm reduction in our region, partnered with City of Arlington to supply Naloxone to business and residents as part of UT Health San Antonio’s Naloxone Texas initiative. This framework aims to combat the state's overdose epidemic through medication distribution, public awareness, recovery support, and workforce empowerment.
