Dog of the Week - Meet Major

This two year old male Shepherd Mix is red in color and weighs 75 pounds. Need an active, friendly dog in your life? Come check out Major. He loves to play fetch and knows the command of "sit". He appears to be dog-friendly and would probably do well with children. Major has been tested as Heartworm positive. Heartworm treatment is being sponsored by a local group with details provided at adoption. Meet Major in Dog Adoptions (DA) 22; his ID number is 36524381.

Cat of the Week - Meet Roger

This six and a half month old male Domestic Shorthair is black and white in color. Roger came to the shelter due to the demise of his previous pet guardian. Upon first meeting a new prospective adopter, he can be somewhat apprehensive. Your patience is rewarded by his acceptance of your attentions in the form of chin and cheek rubs. He responds in kind with a loud purr and kneading. Roger would probably do best in a home with patient adults willing to induce feelings of safety and security for him. Meet Roger in Cat Adoptions (CA) 23; his ID number is 36255721.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
