Eden Road Park in Southeast Arlington is now open!

The new park, located at 1860 Mansfield Road, includes a group picnic pavilion with grill, a playground, an open play space, picnic tables and benches. Visitors can also enjoy viewing wildflower meadow areas from the looped walking trail. The park also features a 20-space parking lot.

Construction work on Eden Road Park began in January and was originally expected to be complete by June. However, due to a delay in park equipment delivery, the project was not complete until this month.

The $930,800 project, built by 2L Construction, LLC., was paid for through park development fees. The new park space and its amenities align with the Arlington City Council priority to Champion Great Neighborhoods.

A park dedication is planned for next spring.
