Culture Buzz: UTA’s Maverick Dance Company Prepares for Via Dance!

The newest Culture Buzz segment on MyArlingtonTV visits with The University of Texas at Arlington's Maverick Dance Company, sponsored by UTA's Department of Theatre Arts.

Each semester, the Maverick Dance Company presents a series of dance works by faculty, guest, and student choreographers at their formal dance concert, Via Dance, which takes place December 8-10, 2017 at the UTA Fine Arts Building, 502 S. Cooper St., Arlington, TX 76010.

The show, directed by Amanda Jackson and Meredith Knight, will feature performances with dance styles ranging from post-modern, contemporary hip hop, musical theatre, and folklorico.
