Transportation Advisory

Arlington's Transportation Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2017, at City Hall, 3rd Floor, 101 W. Abram St. in Downtown Arlington.

In September 2016, the Arlington City Council appointed the 31-member committee to study Arlington's transportation-related needs. The Transportation Advisory Committee's final meeting is set for September 7. After months of study and discussion, the committee is scheduled to present recommendations to the City Council on September 26, 2017.

Residents can find a complete schedule of upcoming meetings and other key information about the Transportation Advisory Committee at www.arlington-tx.gov/TAC.

Time for public comment is scheduled at the end of each meeting. Residents can also take a look at the agenda for August's meeting on the TAC website.

Comment and speaker cards will be available. If you would like to speak, please check the speaker box and hand the card to staff. Otherwise, you may write comments and leave it with staff after the meeting.

Enhancing Regional Mobility, such as championing for high-speed rail connectivity in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, ranks as one the City Council's top priorities for The American Dream City.
