Drumming Around Town, which launched in April, continues to be a hit with aspiring musicians of all ages.

This engaging program was created by the Arlington Public Library to encourage the fine arts and music education. many local high schoolers enjoy getting to play the drums outside of the classroom and with people they have never met!

Jeromy Bailey, a local percussion musician, leads the drum sessions. Bailey performs with churches and also teaches private lessons

The sessions are great for someone wanting to learn about drums or for sharpening up drumming skills.

Another drum session will be held July 11, from 2-3 p.m., at the East Library location. Sticks and pads will be provided but feel free to bring your own!

A community performance will be held 2-4 p.m., August 9 at Globe Life Park.
