Sister Cities

What began as a humanitarian partnership with Bad Königshofen, Germany in 1951, has grown into a broader effort to build meaningful Sister City relationships throughout the world that celebrate culture, learning, and shared experiences. Through community events, cultural exchanges, and global partnerships, the organization brings people together, reflects Arlington’s diverse community, and creates lasting connections that benefit both Arlington and its international partners.

Sister Cities of Arlington, Texas serves to connect our city with international partner cities and their people through citizen diplomacy in areas of economic development, education, cultural exchange, and humanitarian activities.
