Money and Me Event Empowers Families to Build Money Skills Together

Start the school year with hands-on activities, family fun and practical money lessons at Money and Me!

Join United Way of Tarrant County from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026 at River Legacy Nature Center, 703 NW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, TX 76006.

This free, family-friendly event brings together workshops, activities and community resources to help Greater Arlington families build financial confidence together.

What to Expect

Family workshops - Kids in K-5th grade and their parents can participate in engaging, hands-on sessions that make learning about money fun.

Discover helpful community resources – Visit with local organizations and learn about programs, services and opportunities available to support your family.

Explore River Legacy Nature Center - Enjoy interactive exhibits, native wildlife displays and nature experiences.

Earn a free backpack - Children will receive a “passport” to collect stamps through workshop participation. Complete the passport to earn a free backpack.
