Early Voting for May 2, 2026, Election Runs from April 20-April 28

Early voting for the City of Arlington's May 2, 2026, General and Special Elections begins on Monday, April 20 and will continue through Tuesday, April 28.
The City of Arlington will hold a General Election to elect the Mayor, Council Single-Member Districts 3, 4 and 5 and Council At-Large District 8. A runoff election for any of these seats will be held on Saturday, June 13 if necessary. The City will also hold a Special Election on whether to renew the quarter-cent street maintenance sales tax for eight years.

Early Voting Dates and Times
- Monday, April 20: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- No early voting on Tuesday, April 21 because of San Jacinto Day
- Wednesday, April 22-Friday, April 24: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, April 25: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sunday, April 26: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Monday, April 27 through Tuesday, April 28: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Early Voting Locations
In all, 46 early voting locations are available throughout Tarrant County. Voters have six locations in Arlington in which to cast their ballot:
- ACTIV Center, 2061 W. Green Oaks Blvd., 76013
- Bob Duncan Center, 2800 S. Center St., 76014
- Elzie Odom Athletic Center, 1601 NE Green Oaks Blvd., 76006
- City of Arlington Water Utilities South Service Center, 1100 SW Green Oaks Blvd., 76017
- Tarrant County Sub-Courthouse in Arlington, 700 E. Abram St., 76010
- Tarrant County College Southeast Campus ESCT – The HUB, 1st floor, 2100 Southeast Parkway, 76018
Election Day Polling Locations
If you are voting between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, you can vote at any open polling place in Tarrant County. To find the closest polling location to you, please use the online Tarrant County Voter Lookup Tool.

Free Rides to the Polls!
The City of Arlington is offering promo codes for free round trips to select early voting and election day voting locations on the Arlington On-Demand and Handitran public transportation services. Here are the details:
- Promo code APR26VOTE will cover the early voting period, April 20-28, 2026, by providing a free round trip if one end of each ride is at one of the six early voting sites in Arlington. Code is good for one use only.
- Promo code MAY26VOTE will cover voting day, May 2, 2026, by providing a free round trip if one end of each ride is at one of the 28 voting sites in Arlington. Code is good for one use only.
- The City's Handitran service is available only to eligible riders who have completed the required application process.
- Riders can enter the promo code when using the Arlington Transportation app to unlock the free ride or mention the promo code when calling to book a ride.
