Municipal Court to Return to City Tower After Temporary Relocation

The Arlington Municipal Court will be closed to the public on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, during its relocation back to City Tower.
The Municipal Court has been temporarily housed in leased space inside the UTA Social Work Complex since July 2024. The 14-month relocation of the Court, and some other city offices, was necessary while the City of Arlington has been making improvements to the public restrooms, elevators, HVAC systems and parking lots at City Tower, located at 101 S. Mesquite St.
The Municipal Court is set to reopen inside City Tower at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20. The City Attorney’s Office is returning there on Friday, Oct. 10.
We appreciate the public’s patience as improvements continue at City Tower through January 2026. For example, some parking spaces will be unavailable as the City makes preparations to replace the building’s roof starting in November. Replacement of the elevators is expected to be complete in January. The building will have at least one working elevator at all times during ongoing renovations.
The Municipal Court’s business hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for court clerk customer services and payments.
Individuals can avoid the lines by going online to pay their citation at www.arlingtontx.gov/municipalcourt. For citation information, please contact the Court at 817-459-6777 or by email city warrant questions to: Trafficwarrants@Arlingtontx.gov.
