Wicked Threads: The Artistry of Costume in Oz AND Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition at the Arlington Museum of Art
Following the release of the highly anticipated film, the Arlington Museum of Art will debut a collection of costumes from Wicked (2024) celebrating the artistry of the costume design and twenty-one years of the beloved Broadway musical Wicked. The Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition will feature a collection of larger-than-life images taken by Diana’s trusted friend and Official Royal Photographer, the late Anwar Hussein, as well as his sons Samir and Zak. Each image will be accompanied by first-hand accounts of the stories behind the world-famous moments, told through an in-depth audio guide.

Little Explorers – Downtown Library
Stop by The Children’s Play Room at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library on 10 a.m. Fridays for a morning of play-based learning. This come-and-go program will vary week-to-week as librarians explore art, math, science, engineering, and fine motor skills. Join the Arlington Public Library for a playfully discover the world around us! Designed for ages 1-4. Tottie Lynn Play Days
Come join the Arlington Parks & Recreation Department for a festive event filled with fun crafts and activities 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Dottie Lynn Recreation Center. This come-and-go event is designated for those five years old & under. All participants are to be escorted by a guardian 18 years or older. Click here to register.
Family Storytime – Southeast Branch Library
Join the Arlington Public Library’s fabulous library staff to sing, read and wiggle during storytime at the Southeast Branch Library 10:30 a.m. Fridays. This storytime is geared for ages 2-5. They will read books, sing songs, and have an activity after the program each week. Storytime at River Legacy Nature Center

Authors in Arlington: Kari Lavelle and Lindsay Leslie
The Arlington Public Library is proud to present Authors in Arlington, a new program focused on connecting the community with popular and influential authors. They are happy to host authors Kari Lavelle and Lindsay Leslie in "Battle of the Genres: Fiction vs Nonfiction" 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the City Council Chambers next in between Arlington City Hall and the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library.
Join for this special event that pits Fiction and Nonfiction against each other. Learn more about the genres, how they differ, and how both Kari Lavelle and Lindsay Leslie found their voice in writing for their respective genres. Afterwards we will have a moderated Q&A session as well a book signing for those who would like to have their books signed. This event is perfect for children 5 and up.

At Spice Club, you will learn about a different spice every month. Attend to discover a spice and receive a take-and-make kit featuring a variety of unique spices, herbs, or blends. Check out new cookbooks and recipes or bring a favorite recipe of yours to share! This month you will learn about CREOLE COOKING at Spice Club, 12-1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Southeast Branch Library’s Community Room.
Each kit will include:
- Information about the featured spice, its history with a few facts;
- two simple recipe suggestions;
- Small packet of the featured spice to try.

Cricut for Beginners: Apron
Unlock your creativity in this fun and hands-on Cricut class! In this session, you'll learn how to use Cricut's Everyday Iron-On Vinyl to design and personalize aprons, from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library’s Tinker Room. This class is limited to the first 8 in attendance and is appropriate for ages 13+.
DIY Sprinkler Repair: Fix a Leak Week
Do you want the power to silence a running toilet and save yourself money on your utilities bill? What about gaining the knowledge you need to replace a broken sprinkler head? Mark your calendars now for two events in March, when the EPA WaterSense program and Arlington Water Utilities will celebrate Fix A Leak Week 2025! These free classes will be hosted by Arlington Water Utilities, Tarrant Regional Water District, and the Arlington Public Library. Registration for these classes will open a few weeks before the events at SaveTarrantWater.com/events.
DIY Sprinkler Repairs - Saturday, March 15, 2025, 2 - 4 p.m., at the Northeast Branch Library. Participants in this class will learn about all the parts of a typical home sprinkler system; how to see if your system has uneven coverage; how to adjust heads and maintain your system; and how to check your system for leaks
Day Trip - Elvis Tribute at Arlington Music Hall
Come see the Elvis impersonator, Moses Snow, who is a seven-time fan-favorite winner and a multi-award-winning tribute artist from Fort Worth. In 5 short years, Moses has performed across the United States, Canada and Europe. Don't miss the chance to see him live! Registration fee covers admission for the performance. Sunday Brunch
Ventana Grille at the Tierra Verde Golf Club clubhouse is now serving brunch from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each Sunday. Menu items include four savory Eggs Benedict entrées, Shrimp-N-Grits, Ginger Salmon, and their favorite - Napoleon's Last Meal, a buttermilk fried chicken breast over bourbon French toast and served with maple syrup!
