In this new episode of Arlington Eats, host Cynthia Lemus visited Okinawa Asian Cuisine, a fresh addition to Arlington's dining scene. The restaurant offers a unique all you can eat experience featuring high quality, made-to-order Japanese dishes. From sushi to hibachi, Okinawa Asian Cuisine is a spot locals can visit if they are craving something different.

“We offer an all-you-can-eat option where customers can order everything on the menu, with limit ordering. They can try different dishes, and everything comes out hot and fresh,” said Ashley Chuk, manager of Okinawa Asian Cuisine.

The restaurant offers over 100 items on its menu, including hot appetizers, soups, salads, sushi rolls, hibachi, teriyaki, noodles, and fried rice.

“It’s similar to a buffet, but instead of you going out to grab your food your server takes your order, and everything is brought to your table fresh and hot. You don’t have to worry about other people touching your food,” said Chuk.

Okinawa’s commitment to freshness extends to its preparation process.

“Every day in the morning, we prepare all the fresh cod, we make sure everything is fresh and hot when it’s served to the customer. If we have leftovers, we throw them away, we never reuse them,” said Long Chen, co-owner of Okinawa Asian Cuisine.

Located in the heart of Arlington, Ashley believes there's no better place for their restaurant than The American Dream City.

“We looked at a lot of places, but this was the perfect location,” she said. “Arlington is diverse, and the community is great. Everyone helps, and our neighbors have been supportive. A lot of customers refer their friends and family, which has really helped our business grow.”

Okinawa Asian Cuisine is located at 1325 W. Interstate 20 #121. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Customers can choose between two options: An all-you-can-eat menu or a regular menu with individual orders. For all you can eat option, lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $19.95, and dinner is available for $29.95 per person.
