Bob McFarland Park

Bob McFarland Park

Bob McFarland, a UTA graduate, State Senator and Representative of Texas, served as a Special Agent of the FBI and then established himself as a well-respected attorney. Areas of this park are heavily wooded with large stands of Hackberry, Mesquite and Bois d’Arc trees.

The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department is proud to partner with the City of Arlington and the Arlington Independent School District for the Bob McFarland Park. Through this partnership, Arlington schools are able to utilize this park as a place for play and recess during school hours. Although it is a public park, during school hours, AISD has the authority to manage access to the park during school hours for safety purposes. Please be mindful of this when planning your trip to the Bob McFarland Park.
