Woodland West Outdoor Pool (Closed for 2026 Season)
The Woodland West Pool is closed for the 2026 swim season. A new aquatics facility is set to open in its place in summer 2027.
Woodland West Pool is a popular neighborhood pool that features shaded areas and grass. The back wall of the pool is elevated and is a great place to jump off and make big splashes! Woodland West Pool also features a large shallow end that is perfect for young children. Services at the pool include swimming lessons and facility rentals. Limited drink and snack concessions are available.

This project focuses on the design and construction of a new outdoor aquatic facility to replace the existing pool in west Arlington. Voters approved a $7 million bond proposal in the 2023 Bond Election. A public survey was sent out in early February 2025 where results were used to create two Concept Development Designs. Those that did not complete the online survey had the options to attend a public open house at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center in March 2025 to select their preferred amenities from the two Concept Development Designs. In May, Kimley-Horn staffs decided on a final Conceptual Plan Layout of the new facility. Construction began in February 2026 with a projected completion date of spring 2027.
