September 2026 Student-Athlete of the Month: Catherine Knowles

Catherine Knowles, a junior on Arlington High School’s volleyball team, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for September 2026.

Knowles plays libero for the Lady Colts and has already made an impact on the court, earning First-Team All-District honors as a sophomore. This season, she continues to be a key member of the team while serving as a leader for her teammates.

“She’s a great leader, because she works hard,” said Kim Spencer, Arlington High School Head Volleyball Coach. “She really leads by example but also leads with her voice as well.”

Off the court, Knowles has her sights set on a career in veterinary medicine. After graduating from Arlington High School, she plans to attend college and pursue her goal of becoming a veterinarian.
