Cooking Well: Texas meets Mediterranean

Wrap up the three-week Cooking Well: Texas Meets Mediterranean culinary adventure on Thursday, Sept. 24 from 1–3 p.m. at George W. Hawkes Downtown Library. In this final session, continue exploring how Mediterranean-inspired cooking can fit into a Texas kitchen while keeping the comforting flavors you love.

Levitt Fall Concert Series

Enjoy three nights of free live music at Levitt Pavilion Arlington, Sept. 25–27 at 7:10 p.m. Friday features The Buffalo Ruckus with Ian Tonroy, Saturday brings Waterloo – A Celebration of ABBA with Housequake, and Sunday wraps up the weekend with UTA Jazz featuring Dani Toralla. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy live music under the stars.

Downtown Arlington Car Show

Take a trip down memory lane at the Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. at Vandergriff Town Center. Check out a collection of classic cars, enjoy live music, food vendors and a kids area, with the Downtown Arlington Farmers Market happening nearby.

Front Street Festival

Step back in time and celebrate Arlington’s 150th anniversary at the Front Street Festival on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. at Knapp Heritage Park. Enjoy historic cabin tours, hands-on demonstrations, local vendors, live music and family-friendly activities as Arlington’s history comes to life.

Abram Street Market

Shop, browse and support local makers at the Abram Street Market on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. in Downtown Arlington. This free outdoor market features a variety of crafts, food, apparel and more, making it a great stop while exploring downtown.
